Restaurant Nostalgia in Essen

Ordered via Lieferando the first time and via the app from the restaurant the second time. Before I placed my second order, I called the restaurant and asked a few questions. The lady (Maria) on the phone was very friendly and kind and explained everything to me in peace. Then I pre-ordered my meal. The food was there on time. The driver was very friendly. Bifteki tasted great. 👍 Thank you, we will order from you again. It is really very, very tasty and recommendable. The portions are just right.

We waited 2.5 hours for our food and it was rather inferior for a restaurant, you could have put together the dishes yourself and cooked without any problems, and the portions were really meager for the price ... Conclusion: Lockdown or not, but if you are overwhelmed you shouldn't accept so many orders so that you can't keep up, well once and never again put 60 € in the sand

Very tasty food at good prices and large portions, as one is used to from a good Greek. There is a welcome schnapps and one in between. The grappa tastes great.

Had a gyro plate Mega yummy I added a salad that was also good and I was very pleasantly surprised about the addition of bread The only negative point the fries were completely without spices

I am very pleasantly surprised by the good quality of the food. Super delicious gyros, very juicy and flavorful. The fries that we ordered were even really crispy. Comments on the order were also dealt with. Apart from the food, we specified the desired delivery time online and the order came on time. I'm really excited. 👍

Simply the hottest Greek ever !!!! already eaten by so many Greeks, but never experienced such a quality and so far only had it delivered ...., Everything came perfectly special requests were all fulfilled, but the most important thing is the taste, I dream I can just recommend it to everybody....

From the outside it is inconspicuous ... The staff are polite and very accommodating ... The food was delicious ... Even extra requests are accepted without any problems ... We will definitely be back😍

I can't quite understand the positive reviews. I've never waited so long for an order (for just two people) After over 2.5 hours we finally received our food. I called them twice and each time I was told (actually very nicely) that the delivery would go out immediately, but that it was just very busy. That took an hour each time ... Really bad time management. Even though the restaurant took so much time, my foil potato was still hard and not really edible ... The meat was quite good, but the salad really very little. With such a long delivery time, you could at least have added a small apology or something similar. There are only two stars because the staff on the phone was nice and really seemed overwhelmed. We will not order again here. A real shame ...

Delicious! The restaurant is beautifully designed inside and out, very clean and inviting! The owners are overwhelmingly warm and friendly, so that you immediately feel at home. It was our first time to take food with us and we all agree that we will eat in the restaurant in the near future. The price is absolutely reasonable, the portion size is definitely top, so the price-performance ratio is absolutely right! From the first impression we are absolutely positive! We recommend. Great reception, the humanity is extremely lacking in various other places around here! Some others should cut off a thick slice of nostalgia! Keep it up, we'll be back and recommend your restaurant. We will also test the delivery service!

Yes hello first So at the inventory seating, etc., not much has changed since the local is no longer called the old post. But still good value for money OK and the service was great

Beautifully crafted pork! Myself and several colleagues ate here after a recommendation from the Petul hotel just nearby. The service was superb and they actually we happy to prep an amazing meal just for us. We decided after sharing a lovely starter that we wanted a sharing main too. The chef cooked us a storm of fantastic park dishes such were all very different. Bill was very reasonable too - circa 130 euros for 4 beers swilling Brits! The chef obviously took pride in his quality too. Great place. Enjoy.
